HOUSTON is Hiring a Construction Materials ( CoMET) Technician Near Houston, TX
- Performing testing and/or inspection as assigned day today basis.
- Document work performed as appropriate.
- Provide support to Project Manager as directed.
- Perform assigned duties in a safe, cheerful, efficient and workman like manner.
- Able to perform tasks with minimum supervision, Ability to acquire additional skills/certifications as needed
Key Criteria/Requirements:
- Possess High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3- Years experience with TXDOT certification sin Soil, Concrete and Asphalt
- Ability to lift concrete, soil or asphalt as a routine part of the job.
- Ability to tolerate year-round outdoor work.
- Ability to travel to distant projects and stay on the job as needed for duration of project with paid expenses.
- Valid Texas Driver's LIcense with no history of accidents or alcohol related offenses.
